Things Are Working Out Design
theory, CFD analysis, tank testing, and expert advice don't hold a candle to what
happens in the real world of cruising, especially that which takes place
offshore. Our
approach to design and systems is different, because we try to optimize for how
our boats are going to be used, rather than how they look in a boat show.
We are always looking out for better ways of creating the "perfect cruising boat".
We're not afraid to try new approaches, especially in our systems. Sometimes
these work out, other times, after some trial and error, we go a different route. Now
that Wind Horse has 25,000+ miles under her keel, we've got some pretty
good data on what is working and what needs fine-tuning. With
this in mind, we thought it might be interesting to do a series of short articles
